Wearing a bowl of ramen, for which the city is famous for, on its head and equipped with big, puppy eyes this mascot represents Sano City in the Tochigi Prefecture. Sanomaru also wears samurai garb to represent the castle history part of the city, it has appeared all over the city and has won the 2013 Mascot Grand Prix.
